Roads End Ranch Weddings is a small part of our farm and our farm is a little slice of heaven for us. It has been in our family for over 70 years and we have lived here for 40 years. We raised our three daughters here and our grandchildren love “the farm”. It was a big decision to share our paradise with others outside of our circle of friends and family.
One of our daughters gave me a sign recently that sums up the strong feelings that each of us shares, “I wouldn’t give a nickel to have it paved in gold. Everything I love is at the end of a dirt road.” That’s Roads End Ranch.
The barn that housed Parmenter Stables, a harness horse training operation that my husband owned and operated, is part of the wedding venue. My husband trained and raced trotters and pacers and his colors were black and white and a royal blue. We decided to carry on that tradition in the colors we use in our venue. The office in the barn has been redesigned and is now the “Grooms Quarters”. We have showcased some of the racing harness and other equipment to honor the racing tradition of our family.
Our hope is that you will appreciate the beauty and serenity of our farm and that you will find the happiness and joy that we do every time we step outside.
